About Dr. Rafi Parnia

In 1987, upon obtaining my Board Certification in General Surgery, I joined the faculty of Kerman University of Medical Sciences. During this period, I gained extensive experience in surgical education and performing major surgical procedures.

From 1990 to 1993, I completed my fellowship training in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.

In 1993, I joined the faculty of Urmia University of Medical Sciences, where I pioneered the development of plastic and aesthetic surgery in western Iran. During my academic career, I organized and delivered hundreds of educational courses in plastic and aesthetic surgery.

I also completed short-term training programs in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. In addition, I have presented scientific papers and delivered lectures at numerous national and international congresses dedicated to plastic and aesthetic surgery.

Throughout my career, I established a private practice and clinic, performing thousands of plastic and aesthetic surgical procedures. These experiences have enabled me to develop extensive expertise in a wide range of procedures, including rhinoplasty, facelift surgery, eyelid surgery, cheek augmentation, breast surgery (mammoplasty and breast augmentation with implants), abdominoplasty, liposuction, and Lipomatic procedures.

I have continuously enhanced my knowledge and refined my surgical techniques by participating annually in congresses organized by the International Confederation of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS) and the Iranian Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeons. This ongoing commitment has allowed me to integrate my clinical experience with the latest scientific findings and advances in surgical techniques.

With 24 years of experience in plastic surgery, I have also treated numerous patients who have suffered complications or injuries following procedures performed by individuals without specialist training in plastic surgery. Many of these patients seek consultation at my practice and clinic, where I work to address their complications and improve their outcomes.
